This SINGLE BARREL BOURBON IS MADE FROM TEXAS GROWN GRAIN WITH A MASHBILL OF 70% WHITE CORN, 25% RYE, 5% MALTED BARLEY. IT WAS AGED FOR TWO YEARS IN A NUMBER 3 CHAR BARREL AND UNDERWENT SLOW WATER REDUCTION OVER A 6 MONTH PERIOD WHILE IN BARREL FROM 118 TO 102 PROOF.
Tasting Notes
Nose:
Orange zest and dark chocolate, sweet tea, slight herbal notes, honey and oak.
Palate:
Sweet Tea, cinnamon, oak spice and wood oil, honey and oily/creamy. Short finish.
